The strongest spell in the game is definately wild bolt.

However, storm is the MOST POWERFUL. Second in the list of power is Fire, Myth, Death, Balance, Life, Ice. This is not the order of BEST schools. The BEST school for power is, of course, Storm.

Personally I find that either the Life, Death, or Balance schools would be best for soloing because Life and Balance have multiple cards that are purely meant to heal you, but Death is able to attack and get half the health back for some spells.

Ice is pro because they have highest health and resistance, so they can go forever without dying. If you've ever looked at the high scores for PvP, like over half of them on the first five pages are Ice wizards.
